The Shoreline Farmers Market will be open for business this Saturday from 10am to 3pm and will run every Saturday until October 6th at Shoreline City Hall. On June 30th the market will have a Grand Opening Celebration. The market will feature a great selection of local, organic and artisan goods such as; fruits and veggies, sustainably raised meats, baked goods, dairy, wine, coffee, ice cream, and will offer a small rotating selection of home and garden crafts throughout the season including; garden tools, soaps, and others. Local non-profit organizations will also be in attendance as a part of the markets’ educational efforts.
SNAP EBT benefits will be accepted at the Shoreline Farmers Market.
There will be music, contests, promotional items and other fun events for the whole family throughout the season! An early promotion will be from the City of Shoreline, who will be distributing free reusable bamboo tote bags to the community!
Shoreline City Hall will be open on Saturdays during the market. Parking is convenient as well and will be located on the ground floor of the City Hall Parking Garage. Getting to City Hall is also convenient via the 358 metro, the Interurban Trail, 175th Street and Aurora Avenue.
The Shoreline Farmers Market Association is still looking for volunteers for the market season as well as people who may be interested in playing music or helping with family style events such as face painting and contests.
