The Rotary Club of Shoreline is presenting "Shoreline Rotary Idol", a crazy, wonderful evening full of fun and entertainment on June 16, 2012 in the main dining room of Shoreline Community College.
Money raised by the event will go to local charities, including sending medically challenged children from Shoreline to Camp Korey, a camp set up for kids with special medical needs.
Rotary Idol is a local talent show that includes singing (individual and group), dancing, and comedy acts. Acts are critiqued by judges and winners chosen by audience vote. Besides the talent contest, there will be raffles, prize balloons, snacks, dessert, wine, and beer.
The judges are entertaining and keep the performers humble, until someone walks off with first prize, the tackiest trophy you've ever seen.
Tickets are $25 and can be obtained by contacting Lee Craig.

Proceeds from this event will benefit community and international service projects of the Rotary Club of Shoreline including Christmas Clothing for Needy Kids, Rotacare Free Medical Clinic, Student Scholarships, Music4Life, and other projects. This year, money raised at "Rotary Idol" will also go toward sponsoring children from Shoreline with medical needs to attend Camp Korey.
The talent show is open to everyone in the community who would like to showcase their abilities and support a worthy cause. If you are interested, please contact Lee Craig. You will be paired with a member of the local Rotary to introduce and support your act.
