Shoreline PTA Council honors outstanding volunteers, educators, and advocates

The Shoreline PTA Council recently held its annual Recognition Event at Shoreline Center. During the event the Council honored recipients of Golden Acorn awards for volunteer service, Outstanding Educators and Outstanding Advocates.
Kathy Walker, Shoreline Schools Food Services program manager, was honored as the Council Outstanding Advocate for her work with the PTA's Healthy Lifestyles Committee to ensure healthier lunches for students. (Photo attached)
The PTA Council awarded its Golden Acorn to Mary Mehlert and Lisa Sharratt for their volunteer work performed on a district wide level that impacts all schools and children.
