Shorecrest follows 6-1 tennis victory over Oak Harbor Tuesday, 5-2 victory at Meadowdale Wednesday with Thursday match at Everett, Friday home match with Mountlake Terrace

The Shorecrest girls’ tennis team improved its Western Conference 3A division first-place record to 13-1 with a 6-1 home victory over Oak Harbor Tuesday and a 5-2 Wednesday victory at Meadowdale, going into a Thursday match at Everett and a Friday home match with Mountlake Terrace.

The Shorecrest junior varsity lost a home match to Meadowdale, 5-2, Wednesday, after the Tuesday JV match at Oak Harbor was rained out. The Shorecrest JVs take a 9-4-1 record into a Thursday home match with Everett.

Shorecrest’s top players then play in the Western Conference 3A division tournament May 8, 9 and 10.

In exhibition doubles, Kaetlynne Tagle and Tiffany Kuan defeated their Oak Harbor opponents, 8-5, and Hannah Winter and Gabrielle Richmond also scored an 8-5 victory.
