The Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council’s 14th Annual Gala for the Arts Benefit: An Evening of Hollywood Glamour, Friday, June 22, 2012
The Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council presents its 14th annual Gala for the Arts Benefit on Friday, June 22, at 5:30 p.m. in the Shoreline Room at Shoreline Center, prior to the Shoreline Arts Festival on June 23 and 24. Attendees will be treated to Northwest wines, a delicious dinner, exciting silent and live auctions, an exclusive preview of our 22nd annual juried art shows, and fabulous entertainment featuring Jazz Diva Greta Matassa.
The Gala for the Arts is a benefit for the Arts Council's community and Arts for Kids programs, such as the Artists-in-Schools program in the Shoreline School District, the August Arts Camp, Children’s Performance series, and Summer Enrichment Scholarships.
Auction items include exclusive champagne and movie party followed by a private catered dinner for 14 at Aljoya at Thornton Place; 1,000 pounds of Zoo Doo from the Woodland Park Zoo; four passes to Disneyland Resort; Mariners Box Seat tickets; Old West adventure with meals, riding and ranch activities at K Diamond K Ranch; 2012 VIP Bumbershoot Gold Passes for 2; dinner for 4 at The Ruins; and much more,
New this year is a Wine Auction highlighting Northwest wineries. Dinner will feature a custom “Earth and Ocean” menu by Pacific Northwest Catering.
