WeatherWatcher: Cooler and wetter trend continues all week

Next week it looks like we will continue our cooler and wetter than normal pattern. 

This is thanks to our persistent La Niña that has been dissipating, however atmospheric effects will take until late April through early June to end. As a result we will have a colder than normal spring, with more precipitation than normal. I'm still using the word precipitation instead of rain because I still think there is a good chance for a wet snow shower or hail storm to blow through in the month of April. So basically more of the same that we've had the last 3 weeks here for the remainder of the spring season.

Last week we had a lot of rainfall

It totaled out at 2.63 inches of rain! It was very wet, and the storms that I mentioned last week did come in. The timing was slightly different than I expected, but I knew there was a lot of variability with last weeks storms as the main storm track has been going into northern California.

Total rainfall: 2.63 inches

Average temperature: 45.4ºF
