Shorewood soccer team undefeated, untied, unscored-upon going into Monday game at Meadowdale

The Shorewood boys’ soccer team is undefeated, untied and unscored-upon going into a Monday game with Meadowdale at Edmonds Stadium.

The Thunderbirds lead the Western Conference 3A division with a 10-0 record after defeating Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace last week.

Shorewood and Meadowdale meet at Edmonds Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Monday, with junior varsity teams from the two schools meeting at 5:30.

The Thunderbirds defeated Lynnwood, 2-0, Tuesday, April 10 at Shoreline Stadium. Eugene Holley scored both goals, one with an assist from Dodge Shaeffe. Shorewood goalkeeper Daniel Nadeau recorded the shutout. The Thunderbird junior varsity defeated the Lynnwood JVs, 1-0.

Shorewood topped Mountlake Terrace, 1-0, Thursday at Lynnwood High School. Holley scored the only goal on a penalty kick in the 37th minute. Nadeau recorded another shutout.
