The Shorewood baseball team plays host to Mountlake Terrace Tuesday after a 9-4 victory over Marysville Getchell Friday.

Shorewood takes a 3-5 Western Conference 3A division record (4-8 overall]) into a home game with Wesco 3A leader Mountlake Terrace (7-3, 7-5)at Meridian Park School at 4 p.m. Monday with junior varsity teams from the two schools meeting at the same time at Mountlake Terrace High School.

The Shorewood and Mountlake Terrace varsity teams play at Mountlake Terrace Tuesday at 4 p.m., with JV teams playing at Meridian Park.

In Shorewood’s 9-4 home victory over Marysville Getchell Friday, the Thunderbirds scored five runs in the first inning and four in the sixth and outhit the Chargers 10-5. T-bird Kory Longacer hit 3 for 4, with a home run and 4 RBI. Riley O'Brien was the winning pitcher.

The Friday victory completed a two-game Shorewood sweep over Marysville Getchell after a Shorewood Wednesday victory at Marysville Getchell.
