Lake Forest Park / Shoreline READS

The Shoreline Library Board has joined forces with the Lake Forest Park Library Advisory Committee to promote the book selected for Lake Forest Park/Shoreline Reads.

The City of Lake Forest Park, in conjunction with the King County Library System’s Lake Forest Park Library, has held Lake Forest Park Reads programs since 2005. In the spring of 2011, members of the Shoreline Library Board approached the Lake Forest Park Library Advisory Committee with the idea of joining forces to promote this activity. The Lake Forest Park Reads committee, composed of Lake Forest Park residents, has been joined by a member of the Shoreline Library Board, and began meeting in January to select this year’s book.

The committee is pleased to announce that the 2012 title is West of Here by Jonathan Evison.

Residents of Lake Forest Park and Shoreline are encouraged to read West of Here this summer. 

Jonathan Evison will be at Third Place Books in the Lake Forest Park Towne Centre to discuss his book on July 30th.
