Maybe the question should be - What is Shoreline going to be when it grows up? Will Shoreline ever grow up? Will Shoreline ever get beyond just being a school district? Will Shoreline Area News ever be something more than a vehicle and cheerleader for the Shoreline School District?
Is Shoreline more than just a School District? Not really.
Kudos to the high schools' counseling departments for pulling this together. As much as we'd like to believe that a 4-year college is in every student's future, it simply isn't. How great to have an event highlighting other paths out of high school! I hope this is well attended, and kids come away with new ideas for their futures.
