SCC's sophomore point guard, Jenny Voss, from Aberdeen, WA, scored 8 points for the North Squad in a 90-75 loss to the South team in the first of two NWAACC Women's Basketball All-Star Games at Pierce College on Sunday.
Voss scored 8 points on a subpar 3 for 12 shooting afternoon, but hitting her only 3 pointer. She was 1-2 from the free-throw line but she pulled down 3 rebounds and had 4 steals in the game. Voss was 17th in the NWAACC for steals with 69 during the season.
The North was behind 32-27 at half and the South extended their lead in the second half with a 58-48 advantage in points. Kelsey Sparks of Bellevue College led the North with 15 points. Janelle Weiss of South (Chemeketa CC) led all scorers with 18 points.
