Shorewood soccer team took 2-0 record into home game with Meadowdale Monday; Shorecrest took 1-0-1 record into match at Lynnwood

The Shorewood boys’ soccer team took a 2-0 record into a home game against Meadowdale on Monday, while Shorecrest took a 1-0-1 record into a match at Lynnwood.

Shorewood and Meadowdale played at Shoreline Stadium. Shorecrest and Lynnwood met at Lynnwood High School.

Shorewood defeated Lynnwood 2-0 Tuesday, March 13 at Lynnwood and defeated Mountlake Terrace 3-0 Friday.

In the victory over Mountlake Terrace, Dawda Dibba, Daniel Han and Taj McChesney scored goals. McChesney, Matthew Pettersen and Hayk Avanesyan had assists. Goalkeeper Daniel Nadeu had the shutout.

Shorecrest defeated Oak Harbor, 4-0, Tuesday at Shoreline Stadium. Ben Schoedle scored two of Shorecrest’s goals; Axel Wickstrom had a goal and two assists; Ryan Heffernan scored a goal; and Callum Wijelath had an assist. Miles Yates had the shutout in goal.

Shorecrest tied Meadowdale, 1-1, Thursday at Shoreline Stadium. Schoedle scored Shorecrest’s goal.
