Shorecrest tennis girls play at Glacier Peak Monday after 6-1 home victory over Meadowdale Friday

The Shorecrest girls’ tennis team plays at Glacier Peak Monday after a 6-1 season-opening home victory over Meadowdale Friday.

The Scots and Glacier Peak meet at Glacier Peak High School near Snohomish at 3:30 p.m. Monday. Junior varsity teams from the two schools meet at the same time at Shorecrest’s home Shoreline Park courts.

In Shorecrest’s 6-1 victory over Meadowdale at Shoreline Park, the Scots won all three doubles matches and three of four singles matches. The meeting had been postponed both Tuesday and Wednesday.

Jennifer Sui (SC) beat Reeb (M) 5-7, 6-2, 6-1. 

Janie Uppinghouse (SC) beat Han (M) 6-1, 6-0. 

Haley Monson (SC) beat Hamburg (M) 7-5, 6-1. 

Haynes (M) beat Erica Pan (SC) 6-3, 7-6 (7-5). 

Doubles:

Keegan Monson, Lauren Rutter (SC) beat Kang-Bishop (M) 6-0, 6-1.

Kaetlynne Tagle, Elissa Sutlief (SC) beat Cho-Shields (M) 3-6, 6-4, 6-1. 

Karena Tien, Rosa Rice-Pelepko (SC) beat Daniggelis-Baldridge (M) 6-3, 6-7, 6-1.
