Scharer And Bodman Have Solid Performances In North's 118-116 Victory

The Shoreline Community College sophomore duo of Joe Bodman and Avery Scharer were both major contributors to the Northern Region All-Star's 118-116 victory over the Southern Region All-Stars at the NWAACC All-Star games at Pierce College on Sunday.

Joe Bodman scored 9 points and had 10 rebounds, 1 blocked shot and 2 assists while Avery Scharer scored 7 points, had 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals to help the North to the win. Bodman's 10 rebounds led the Northern region while Scharer 4 assists topped the North as well.

Avery Scharer led the NWAACC in assists for the 2011-12 season while Bodman was second in the league in rebounds for the season.

JT Terrell from Peninsula College was the leading scorer for the North 18 points, while 3 other players scored 17. Marcus Monroe (Southwest Oregon CC) was the game leader with 21 points.
