For March 1-4, Vallen Brewer was named SCC Softball Player of the Week. Brewer, a outfielder from Lake Stevens High School batted has batted.393 for NWAACC Pre-season tournament at Richland, WA. For the year, Brewer has 13 hits in 9 games with 4 doubles and 1 triple had has walked 3 times.

During the week of March 5-12, SCC named Co-Softball Players of the Week, as sophomore pitcher/outfielder Sophie Overlock-Pauley and freshman catcher Nicole Reyling split the award.
Overlock-Pauley from Ballard High School leads the team in hits with 15 and a .500 batting average to go along with 8 walks. Four of her hits have been doubles.

Reyling has 9 hits with 2 doubles and 2 homeruns. The catcher from Monroe High School also has picked off 10 runners in 9 games.
SCC is 3-4-2 on the season so far.
The Lady Dolphins were rained out this weekend but return to action on Saturday and Sunday of this week, at Centralia College in the NWAACC Western Inter-Region Tournament. SCC plays on Saturday at 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM against Southwestern Oregon CC and Clark College. On Sunday morning, the Dolphins face Clackamas and Chemeketa Community Colleges.
