Spindrift 2012 Call for Entries
Submission Deadline – February 13, 2012
Spindrift, the award-winning art and literary journal published yearly by Shoreline Community College, is currently accepting submissions of photography, fine art, 3-D art, essays, poetry, short fiction and short plays for the 2012 edition. Students and community members are welcome to submit work. Submission deadline is February 13, 2012.
Submissions must be accompanied by (1) a list of all materials sent, (2) a cover letter including the contributor’s name, address, phone number, email, (3) two or three lines of biographical information, and (4) an appropriately sized self-addressed, stamped envelope for author notification.
Spindrift, which has been publishing student, local and regional art and literature since 1966, is the winner of numerous awards such as Best Literary Magazine at Seattle’s Bumbershoot Festival. SPINDRIFT 2010 won FIRST place in the Community College Humanities Association's Pacific-Western Division competition and was named a national winner in the CCHA Literary Magazine Competition.
Submissions may be mailed to Spindrift Art and Literary Journal, Shoreline Community College, 16101 Greenwood Avenue North, Shoreline WA 98133. They may also be delivered in person to the Art/VCT Building (2000) room 2055 or the Humanities Office on the third floor of the FOSS Building.
