Shorecrest girls took 43-19 Tuesday victory over Everett into Thursday home meeting with Shorewood

The Shorecrest girls’ basketball team took a 43-19 home victory over Everett Tuesday into its Thursday home game with Shorewood.
Shorecrest will finish its Western Conference 3A division season with a home game against Glacier Peak Friday at 7:15 p.m. with junior varsity teams from the two schools playing at 5:40. The games with Glacier Peak had been postponed Jan. 17 and again Jan. 23 and 24.
The Northwest District 3A tournament starts Feb. 9 with Shorecrest playing host to a first-round game as the No, 1, 2 or 3 Wesco entry into the tournament.
Going into the Shorewood game, Shorecrest's 11-3 Wesco 3A record (14-4 overall) put the Scots in third place behind Lynnwood’s 12-2 Wesco 3A record and Glacier Peak’s 12-3 record, making Shorecrest’s Friday game with Glacier Peak possibly crucial in determining tournament seeding.

Shorecrest went into the Thursday Shorewood game after ending a two-game losing streak with a 43-19 victory over Everett Tuesday
In Shorecrest’s 43-19 victory over Everett, the Scots outscored Everett in every quarter and held the Seagulls to 6 points or fewer in each period. Shorecrest led 15-4 after the first quarter, 28-10 at halftime and 36-13 after three quarters before outscoring Everett 7-6 in the final period. Bri Lasconia led Shorecrest with 19 points. The Shorecrest junior varsity defeated Everett 33-22.
