Shorecrest girls open State 3A play with regional game against Timberline Saturday at Jackson High School

The Shorecrest girls’ basketball team opens State 3A play with a regional game Saturday at 6pm at Jackson High School in Mill Creek against Timberline High School from Lacey, north of Olympia.

The game will follow a 4pm game between Auburn Mountainview and Seattle Prep.

Shorecrest, the No. 1 3A team from the Northwest District. takes a 19-4 season record into the game with Timberline (15-8), the No. 5 team from the West Central/Southwest bi-district 3A tournament.
