SCC Women's Basketball falls In overtime to North Seattle

The Lady Dolphins dropped their second game in a row in overtime, as North Seattle CC defeated the SCC 87-77.

The SCC squad fought from 20 points down in the first half (31-11) and took a lead late in the second half, but could not make the final shot of regulation with both teams tied and fell to the Storm in OT.

Jenny Voss led SCC with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists. Gnanamani Hooyman scored 11 points with 6 rebounds and Shaquila Wilson added 10 points and 4 steals.

Shoreline is now 8-12 on the season and 2-9 in the NWAACC Northern Region. SCC has now lost 6 games in a row, but two of last three has been in overtime and one, a near upset of Skagit Valley College, the leading team in the region. North Seattle improves to 7-12 on the season and 5-6 in the region.

SCC plays at home on Saturday against Whatcom Community College at 2:00 PM in the SCC Gym.
