32nd Democrats meet Wednesday, February 8

The 32nd District Democrats will hold their monthly meeting on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at the Masonic Hall Shoreline, 753 N 185th St, Shoreline (map)

Socialize and set-up begins at 6:30pm. The formal meeting is from 7-9pm.

On the agenda is the reorganization at the new 32nd legislative district, committee ratification, and bylaws update.

County chcair Sarajane Siegfriedt will speak on "Why Democrats are Opposed to Charter Schools"

After a break and raffle, early endorsement consideration for Representative Cindy Ryu, Representative Ruth Kagi, and Congressman Jim McDermott

The Business Meeting will consider the following:

• Resolutions
• Resolution for Continued Prohibition of Charter Schools in Washington State
• Regarding jurisdiction over guardians or limited guardians and administration guardianships
• State Convention Committees appointment, Committee Reports,
• 2012 Caucus Updates
