Volunteers welcome for the first 2012 Grace Cole Nature Park Work Party

Volunteers are welcome to help members of the Lake Forest Park Stewardship Foundation in their first work party of the year in the Grace Cole Nature Park.

Grace Cole Nature Park, 30th Ave NE and NE 165th Street.

Go south on 28th from NE 178th in Lake Forest Park and drive about 1/2 mile until just before the road turns. You'll see Grace Cole Nature Park on your right.

Saturday, January 21st,  9am - 12pm

Re-vegetation and mulching will be the main activities. Extra people can work on digging blackberries out or scouting for more ivy emerging in areas previously cleared. Tools and gloves are provided for all work parties, or bring your own favorites from home. Snacks and beverages are available at all work parties.

The next work party dates are February 11 and March 10th.
