Fresh on the heels of last season's sold out Late Nite Catechism, Sister returns with 'Til Death Do Us Part on Saturday, January 21 at 7:30 pm at the Northshore Performing Arts Center, 18125 92nd Ave. NE, Bothell.
After teaching countless "students" about the saints, venial sins, limbo and more, Sister is now offering up hilarious lessons on the Sacraments of Marriage and the Last Rites, including her own wacky version of the Newlywed Game.
Barbara Manning, who stars as Sister, began her career by writing/directing a tribute to Pope John XXIII at St. Benedict's. For more than a decade she starred in Late Nite Catechism at ACT, making it Seattle's longest running show. She has been honored by The Sisters of The Holy Names with the prestigious "Marie Rose Award" and by Seattle's Women In Film.
Her credits include film, commercials, industrials, soaps, television, as well as Off-Broadway, regional theater, cabaret and headlining cruise ships. She has produced and directed plays and musicals, including her critically acclaimed revue Women In Tune in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco.
Ms. Manning proudly wrote, directed and performed for Oprah Winfrey's "Stars of Tomorrow." Barbara can be heard on talk radio and voice-overs including a tribute to Edgar Martinez during every Mariners' game.
