Southern Gateway Subarea Study workshop January 24, 7pm

Lake Forest Park will hold the third workshop on the southern gateway project for the City, with a public hearing on January 24, 2012, 7-9pm, at the Elk's Lodge at NE 145th and Bothell (Lake City) Way.

The Southern Gateway Subarea Study focuses on the area three blocks east and west of Bothell Way (SR 522), from NE 145th Street to NE 153rd Street.

"The Southern Gateway Subarea Project is a two-part project to develop potential land use plans to enhance housing options, employment, and the general economic potential in this neighborhood."

LFP Citizens are invited to come see the current planning, including information from the first public session, and to give their views about what they would like to see at the Southern Gateway.

Plans developed from the workshops will be reviewed and approved by Mayor and City Council, then used to make decisions about future development in the area.
