Shorecrest, Shorewood swimmers off until Thursday

The Shorecrest and Shorewood swimming teams will be off until Thursday, Jan. 12, after both teams lost Tuesday, Jan. 3, and won Thursday, Jan. 5.

Shorecrest lost to Kamiak at Shoreline Pool Tuesday and defeated Oak Harbor at Shoreline Pool Thursday. The Scots take an 8-1 record into a meet at Everett at Forest Park Pool in Everett Jan. 12.

Shorewood lost a double dual to Mercer Island and Newport at Mercer Island Tuesday and defeated Jackson in Mill Creek Thursday, The Thunderbirds take an 8-3 record into a meet with Lynnwood and Meadowdale at the Lynnwood Pool Jan. 12.

Shorecrest and Shorewood divers were to compete Saturday in a Wesco sectional diving meet at Kamiak High School in Mukilteo.
