SCC Men's Basketball Beats Olympic 116-99

The SCC Men's Basketball Team broke open a close game late in the first half to lead 59-49 at the break and built up a 106-77 advantage in the second half before clearing the bench in route to a 116-99 win against Olympic College on Saturday afternoon in front of a big crowd at the SCC Gym. The game was tied 6 times with 5 lead changes in the early going before the SCC press wore the Rangers down and SCC took control of the game.

SCC was lead by Earlie Dixon with 23 points, followed by Will Acromite with 18 and Avery Scharer had 15 points and 7 assists. Shoreline dominated the boards, out rebounding the Rangers 71-44 and outscored OC 56-33 from the bench.

SCC is now 8-5 on the year and 2-0 in the NWAACC Northern Region. SCC will play at North Seattle CC on Wednesday at 7:30 PM. Olympic falls to 3-9 on the season and 0-2 in the region.
