A #2 Pencil greeted patrons as they streamed into the library after the ribbon cutting.
Thanks to the $172 million library capital bond approved by voters to fund major improvement projects at KCLS libraries, the library is now 60% larger after being expanded to a total of 5,873 square feet. The renovated space also features a public computer cyber bar, additional seating and study areas and a multi-purpose meeting room.
