Democrats to hear from Congressman McDermott on Sunday

Congressman Jim McDermott is the featured guest of the King County Democrats at an event in Shoreline Sunday, January 22, 2012, from 5-7 pm.

The Winter Days Fundraiser will be held at the Richmond Masonic Temple in Shoreline, corner of Linden Ave N and N 185th, (753 N 185th St).

Music by Gary Canter and Jean Mann.

Attorney General candidate Bob Ferguson will also be there.

Suggested donation $20 to $100.

Under the new redistricting, Congressman McDermott will be the US Representative for Shoreline and Lake Forest Park, which will be in the 7th Congressional District. Most of the cities are currently represented by Jay Inslee, who is leaving his position to run for Washington State governor.
