Tennis players from Shorecrest, Shorewood on all-Wesco team

Singles players from both Shorecrest and Shorewood and doubles teams from both schools have won places on the all-Wesco-3A boys’ tennis team.

Shorecrest senior singles player Juan Ramirez and Shorewood senior singles player Justin Oh have won places on the team, as have the Shorewood doubles team of seniors Hunter Nelson and Miles Jamieson and the Shorecrest team of freshman Nishant Limaye and sophomore Chris Sato.

Remirez won a berth in the State 3A tournament to be played in May by winning the Northwest District championship in late October. Nelson and Jamieson will head for the State tournament as District doubles champions. Oh placed fourth in the District singles tournament. Ramieriz had won the Wesco 3A singles championship a week earlier. Nelson and Jamieson won the Wesco 3A doubles championship with Limaye and Sato fourth.

Shorewood won the District team championship with Shorecrest third. Shorewood won the Wesco 3A dual-meet championship with a 16-0 record. Shorecrest tied for second with a 13-3 record.
