Shorewood boys take undefeated record into game at Mountlake Terrace Tuesday after 66-35 victory over Lynnwood Friday

The Shorewood boys’ basketball team takes a 1-0 Wesco 3A record (2-0 overall) into a game at Mountlake Terrace (3-0, 4-0) Tuesday after defeating Lynnwood 66-35 Friday.

Shorewood and Mountlake Terrace meet at 7:15 p.m. at Mountlake Terrace High School. Junior varsity teams from the two schools meet at 5:40, with the “C” teams playing at 3:45. 

In Shorewood’s 66-35 victory over Lynnwood, Shorewood led 10-4 after the first quarter, 25-12 at halftime and 43-25 after three quarters. Gage Carroll led Shorewood with 22 points, Ben Andrews scored 11 and Taylor Freeman added 10. Josh Hawkinson, who scored 24 points in Shorewood’s season-opening victory over Auburn, did not play against Lynnwood. Carroll has 28 points in two games for an average of 14 points per game.

The Shorewood junior varsity defeated Lynnwood, 52-42. The Shorewood “C” team lost to Lynnwood. 56-38.
