It is Nutcracker season at Pacific Northwest Ballet.

Created by PNB Founding Artistic Director Kent Stowell and world-famous author and illustrator Maurice Sendak, this masterful Nutcracker production is like no other in the world.

PNB’s annual Stowell/Sendak Nutcracker features over 200 roles danced by professional dancers and students, including four dancers from our area:

  • William Lynch, playing Fritz, is a third grader from Parkwood Elementary
  • Jac Longstreth, playing Tall Servant, is in the seventh grade at Kellogg Middle School
  • Logan Dopps, also playing Fritz, is in third grade at Brookside Elementary
  • Briella Oliver, in the Artillery, a third grader who lives in Lake Forest Park
The Northwest’s favorite family tradition returns to Seattle Center’s Marion Oliver McCaw Hall for 36 performances November 25 through December 27, 2011.
