BECU's newest branch at Gateway Plaza

Ironwood is pleased to welcome BECU to Gateway Plaza Shopping Center, located at 18336 Aurora Ave N near N 185th Street in Shoreline, WA. The new BECU branch opened for business Monday, December 12, 2011.

“We are very excited to have BECU—a not-for-profit cooperative—joining the shopping center,” said Ironwood Property Manager and Leasing Agent Michelle Abbott. “They will be joining a diverse mix of tenants that includes Bartell Drugs, Starbucks, and TONI and GUY Hairdressing Academy. We are confident that the credit union’s character and convenient ATM location will be an asset to Gateway Plaza’s regular patrons and current tenants, as well as to BECU members that are Shoreline residents.”

With more than 675,000 members and more than $9.2 billion in assets, BECU is Washington’s leading and largest community credit union and one of the top five financial cooperatives in the United States. For more information on the credit union, visit BECU online.

With this opening, BECU has closed its branch inside the North City Safeway store at 172nd and 15th NE.

  1. One thing to mention is that with the opening of this new BECU branch the small branch inside the North City Safeway has closed.
