School election results Tuesday, November 8

Ballots reported as of election night, November 8, show the incumbent school board members winning and the supplemental levy passing.

26% of Shoreline School District voter ballots - from Shoreline and Lake Forest Park - have been counted.

Incumbent Mike Jacobs is leading challenger Kyle Burleigh by 2860 votes - 65.9 to 33.8% of the vote.

Incumbent Dick Potter has a strong lead over challenger Lisa Pyper, with 55.25% of the vote.

Dick Nicholson is running unopposed for the seat vacated by Maren Norton.

The Supplemental Levy to Support Class Size needs a simple majority to pass - 50% plus one vote. With 27% of the ballots counted, the yes votes have 58.3%.
