The Lady Dolphin Soccer Team tied Whatcom Community College 1-1 in Bellingham, WA today and sets up a big "Win or Stay At Home" match on Saturday against rival Edmonds Community College.

Edmonds CC is tied for second place in the NWAACC Northern Region with a 8-4-3 record with Green River Community College. Shoreline is in 4th place with a 7-5-3 record. If Shoreline wins on Saturday, it will at least be tied for 3rd place in the region with Edmonds with identical 8-5-3 records. A SCC loss and the Lady Dolphins are out of the playoffs. The top 3 teams in the region go to NWAACC playoffs. There would be a "Play-in" game on Monday between tied teams for the final playoff spot if necessary.

In the match on Wednesday, SCC allowed a goal in the very first minute of the match, but Taylyr Mclean tied the game in 61st minute. The teams fought to a scoreless tie the rest of the way.

SCC is 7-6-5 overall and plays Edmonds at Noon on Saturday at the Dolphin Field on the SCC campus. Whatcom falls to 6-5-6 in the overall, 5-5-5 in the region.
