"Hamlin Haunt" - the not so scary Halloween event at Hamlin Park
North City and Ridgecrest Neighborhoods Associations provided and served up free hot cider and candy for Hamlin Haunt, the event sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Shoreline on Friday, October 21, 2011.

The neighborhood volunteers joined in the fun by wearing costumes and decorating a booth. Families roamed the park in costume and had the opportunity to go on a hayride, listen to scary (fun and silly) songs by the fire while roasting marshmellows, search for candy in the hay stack and get free pictures.

Hamlin Haunt is an annual FREE event - this was the 12th year - a Shoreline Parks Department sponsored event that is scheduled for the Friday before Halloween at Hamlin Park. Mark your calendars for next year's event on Friday, October 26, 2012.
