Give yourself a special treat this holiday season. Kaleidoscope Dance Company’s Gift of Dance Concert is the gift that gives in so many beautiful ways.

Artistic Director Anne Green Gilbert gives the young dancers ages 7-16 the opportunity to collaborate and choreograph with their peers for a one-of-a-kind show. Through this opportunity they develop numerous skills, creating imaginative dances and learning about the give and take of working as part of a group. Audience members are sure to enjoy and appreciate the unique perspective and voice of these talented choreographers. Bring your family and share in the magic of children watching children perform live.

During the past 31 years, Kaleidoscope has traveled around the world sharing the joy of dance with audiences of all ages. This vibrant show, described by the Seattle Weekly as “refreshing,” shares a message of peace and cooperation, especially meaningful during the holiday season.
“These students are professional in every sense of the word.... Their graceful motions, their faces full of feeling, ... this is why we need the arts. They have the power to heal us in ways we cannot explain.” (Valley VIEW).

All ages are welcome and audience members are invited to join the company and Artistic Director Anne Green Gilbert on stage for a community dance during intermission. Internationally recognized choreographer, dance educator, and author, Ms. Gilbert founded Kaleidoscope in 1981.
Enliven your holiday season with this inspiring, uplifting, and family-friendly concert as Kaleidoscope Dance Company shares the Gift of Dance with you.
