Calling for Kids- Shoreline Foundation Phonathon Sunday, November 6

When the phone rings on Sunday between 4 and 6:30pm, it may be the Shoreline Foundation “Calling for Kids” to raise money in support of Shoreline public schools.
"Every year generous donations supports the Shoreline Public Schools Foundation effort in the classroom to improve: reading proficiency, writing creativity, science enthusiasm, math confidence, musical ability, art participation, teacher effectiveness, and much more!
"Last year our summer school scholarships made it possible for every student in need to get the education they deserve. You may also donate now online. "

  1. Why donate? So the schools can buy more I-Pads? WHat happened to all the laptops the taxpayers paid for last year???? For that matter what happened to paper and pencils. Learning to spell? I see stories on FB by these kids and I am appalled at their lack of the English language and spelling abilities, so, how about educating our kids and not just buying them stuff.....we already did that. Can you spell Library?
