King'sPlayers Presents: “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”
Performance dates: April 21, 22; April 27, 28, 29; 2012 at Shorecrest High School performing arts center.
Show Synopsis:
Though considered a "good man" by his friends, Charlie Brown can't seem to win the heart of the Little Red-Haired Girl, nor his friend Lucy, or her crush, the piano-playing Schroeder. Meanwhile Snoopy and Linus daydream and the rest of the friends battle with kites, school, baseball and misunderstandings before finally coming to realize what makes them truly happy.
Audition Dates:
- Friday, November 18th 7pm - 9:30pm
- Saturday, November 19th 10am - 3pm
- Callbacks Sunday, November 20th 3pm - 6pm

Cast: 3 or 4 men; 2 or 3 women
Additional actors of all ages will be cast in supporting class/crowd scenes and songs
Note: while the main characters are children, adults will be cast in these roles:
- Charlie Brown baritone
- Linus baritone
- Snoopy tenor (m) or mezz sop (f)
- Schroeder tenor
- Lucy alto
- Sally soprano w/belt
To Audition:
Come prepared to perform a monologue of no longer than 1-2 minutes as well as 16-20 bars of a song of your own selection and/or bars 1-18 of “Happiness” from "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown." Please bring a clear copy of your own music selection for the pianist.
