WeatherWatcher: Sept 17 to Oct 7: somebody flipped the switch

Fall weather arrives like someone flipped the switch labeled fall.

Highlights:

-We never broke 85ºF for the entire summer season.

-Rain has returned, look in the weekly reports for rainfall totals once again.

-La Nina is officially in full swing for this fall/winter season, and already taken it's grip on the Pacific Northwest.

For the week ahead:

-Rain returns Monday and through most of the rest of the week.

-Winds will pick up again Monday night through Wednesday, it will be breezy at times, given that trees are still holding most of their leaves, we may still see a local power outage here and there.

-Wednesday - Friday the rain will let up and we will see mostly showers off and on.

-Most of the week will be in the mid 50's for highs, and upper 40's for the lows. Our average daily temperatures have dropped significantly in the past 2 weeks, and will for this week as well.
