Shorewood tennis team improves record to 11-0

The Shorewood T-Bird boys’ tennis team defeated Oak Harbor, 7-0, Tuesday, to improve its Wesco 3A league-leading record to 11-0.

Freshman Cameron McDowell stepped up from doubles to score a straight-set win at No. 4 singles, with scores at 6-1, 6-4.

The team plays a home match Wednesday versus Marysville Getchall at 3:30 p.m. at Shoreview Park.

The Thunderbirds then play Thursday at Mountlake Terrace.

Doubles--Liam Keebler-Eric Berquist (SW) def. Miller-Bester (OH) 7-6 (10-8), 6-1; Evan Strandberg-Isaac Brengelmann (SW) def. Harris-Glavick (OH) 6-1, 6-4; Stanley Dang-Navdeep Sandha (SW) def. Dale-Nelson (OH) 5-7, 6-4, 10-4.
