Top three teams to quad-district playoffs, No. 4 team to Northwest District qualifying game,

I was extremely disappointed with the lack of respect demonstrated by the Mt. Vernon team and coach in their game against Shorecrest on 11/1/11. As my son lay on the field with a separated shoulder, the Mt. Vernon team wandered around talking with each other as the Shorecrest team appropriately took a knee. In all my son’s 8 years of playing football, I have never seen such poor sportsmanship!
