SCC Men's Soccer Team Wins First Game of Season

The winless streak is done, as the SCC Men's Soccer team defeated Skagit Valley College on Wednesday in Mt. Vernon, WA 4-2. Freshman Amadou Senghore made his debut to the squad by scoring two goals, the forward originally from Nigeria joined the team last week. SCC also had goals from Jake Lagucik and Tom Hering.

The Dolphins are now 1-10-1 on the season and 1-5-0 in the region, but moved into 3rd place in the region with the win and can move into second with a win over Everett CC on Saturday. Everett is 1-4-1 in the region, with 4 points, while Shoreline is 1-5-0 with 3 points. Edmonds leads the region with 2-3-1 record and 7 points.
