SCC Men's Soccer team hopes fade with 3-1 loss to Whatcom

The Shoreline Community College Men's Soccer team loss on Saturday at the SCC Soccer Field 3-1 to Whatcom Community College. With the loss, the Dolphins chances of returning to the NWAACC playoffs are fading with only 5 games left in the regular season.

SCC could not overcome the 2 goals and assistant by WCC's Andrew Mihovilovich. Whatcom jumped out in front on a goal by Mihovilovich, SCC's Jake Lagucik tied it later in the first half as both teams went to half-time even at 1-1. Whatcom got a second goal by Mihovilavich to take the lead late in the second half and followed that up with another goal two minutes later to put the Dolphins out of the game.

SCC is now 1-12-1, 1-7-0 in the Northern Region. Whatcom is 4-5-1 and 3-4-1 in the region and now leads the division. SCC plays Edmonds Community College on Wednesday at Edmonds.
