COMING HOME: An introduction to military culture

A very special event has been planned by the C.A.R.E. Team from the Northshore/Shoreline Community Network. As you are aware, the C.A.R.E. Team has been providing Cultural Competency events for several years. With all of the focus lately on Veterans and their needs, it has become very apparent that a culture being overlooked is the "military culture".

The C.A.R.E. Team has invited Scott Swaim, a veteran and mental health counselor who specializes in PTSD to present informaion about military culture to help service providers, educators, and community members develop new understanding and skills. Learn more about how we can best work with veterans and their families.
