Doris McConnell, Shoreline City Council Pos 4
“I promised, we could get things done by working together –and I delivered”

In 2007, I ran for Shoreline City Council because I believed we had to rise above the divisiveness and constant fighting. Since my victory, I have helped bring civility back to a Council where fighting cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars and wasted time. I traded fighting for getting things done: passing many Subarea Plans, getting good plans off the shelves and into reality and completing the second mile of the Aurora Project.

I received the highest rating by the Municipal League in this race.

What’s next: Point Wells (no sign-off until we have a fair plan for residents), economic development that maintains our quality of life, and support for our schools.

Let’s keep Shoreline moving forward. A Shoreline resident for 24 years, I have been involved in four PTA’s, Girl Scouts, and Richmond Little League.
