Letter to the Editor: I'm voting for Jesse, Arne, and Chris - and Janet!

To the Editor:

I was intrigued by the letter re: Robin McClelland – and grateful to be informed of this event. My experience was that I had mentioned to Robin while she was on the Planning Commission regarding a shameful development in our neighborhood which essentially (and actually has) permitted routine, permanent heavy equipment use within a very short distance – and full impact our homes. Robin initially indicated interest and said something about following up. However, I never saw hide nor hair of her after that… In contrast, Councilmember Janet Way visited me twice to review and understand the circumstances and to provide a greater understanding of land use rules and procedures. This was very helpful for a citizen who barely knew what a zone was… Needless to say, while I don’t know Jesse Israel [Salomon], having heard from the other writer and my own experience, I will vote for him. You can guess who else I am voting for? A councilmember who really walks the talk regarding genuinely caring for the citizens of Shoreline!

Re: Water Commission
If it ain’t broke – DON’T FIX IT! Arne Lind has done a fabulous job for some years – we have GREAT rates! Why is Bob even running against him???

Re: Chris Eggen
Another very deserving and caring Councilmember who has my full support.

I think SAN is showing its bias by not mentioning "Janet" in the headline for this letter, which talks about her at length. Shame on you SAN!
