Monday, October 17, 2011

Governor Chris Gregoire has directed Washington State and United States flags at all Washington State agency facilities be lowered to half-staff Wednesday, October 19, 2011, in memory of U. S. Army Staff Sergeant Nathan L. Wyrick, 34, of Enumclaw, who died October 10 in Afghanistan of wounds he suffered from small arms fire.

Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business Wednesday, or first thing Thursday morning, October 20.

Other government entities, citizens and businesses are encouraged to join this recognition.
