Dublin Dollars Rummage Sale raises $5000 to help send SC Band and Choir to Ireland

The Dublin Dollar volunteer group held a rummage sale on Saturday, September 24 at Shorecrest High School.

The group is raising money to help pay for the Shorecrest Band and Choir to march in the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Dublin, Ireland next year.

The rummage sale included a bake sale and an elaborate raffle. According to committee member Barb Swan, the event raised close to $5,000.

Many thanks to our community who came to shop, donated items and joined in the fun! Be sure to look for our ongoing raffle sales tickets at upcoming Shorecrest home football games, the Hip Hop Extravaganza and Fall Band concerts.
