Obituaries are condensed biographies of people's lives, written by the people who loved them. Like a memorial service, they tell us things we may not have known about the person, and may leave us wishing we had known them better.

Mary Gosselin Epping 1927-2011  A long-time parishioner of St. Luke, Mary also enjoyed antiquing, gardening, and providing shelter for animals and birds.
Ted Sterling Myers  1942-2011  Like a true fisherman, Ted died doing what he loved most, catching his biggest fish ever. Services held at the Lake Forest Park Civic Club.
Ingeborg Carola Asher  1923-2011   She introduced her friends to Jewish history, culture, and ritual, while embracing the Unitarian ethic. Donations may be sent to Temple Beth Am, Shoreline Unitarian Universalist Church, or a charity of your choice.
Patricia Jane Younger 1924-2011  She was a riveter at Boeing during the war and worked at Safeco Insurance for 30 years.  Memorial service at Prince of Peace Lutheran church.
Weselene Janet Anglemyer  1941-2011  A Rosary was offered at St Luke Parish.
Elizabeth Ann Hutson  1924-2011  Services held at St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church.
Joseph L. Sweetin Jr.  1930-2011  Services held at St Luke.
Maxine Joyce Montgomery  1931-2011  Died peacefully at her Shoreline home.
Lyle Martin Ellefson  1919-2011  Memorial service at Cristwood Park activity center in Shoreline.
Paul Palmer  1934-2011  Remembrance reception at St Luke Parish Center.
Corinne P. "Cory" Nelson  1985-2011  Graduated from Shorewood.  "Larger than life and approached each day with gusto."  Lobbied on legislation and funding for disability services.  Volunteered in local politics.  Marched in the Shoreline Parade.  Memorial celebration at Seattle Congregational Church in Shoreline.
Rick "The PeanutMan" Kaminski  1944-2011  Graduated from Shoreline Community College.
Joseph S. Augusciak  1942-2011  Moved to Shoreline with his family in 2004. 
Mary Ann "Mim" Collins  1948-2011  Active member of the Shoreline Unitarian Universalist Church.
Sarah E. "Bettie" Turney  1917-2011  Worked at Sears until she was 81.  Memorial service at St Mark Catholic Church.
