The Cascade Youth Symphony Orchestra Fall concert will be a great evening of exciting music. The concert will open with “Jupiter” from the Planets and bring back the Egmont Overture to new life.
Flutist Selina Shin will solo “The Carnival of Venice”. The orchestra will finish the first half with “Flight to Neverland” from the movie Hook.
The second half of the program will feature 250 voices of the Shoreline School District Elementary Honor Choir under the direction of Tam Osborne. They will sing the world premiere of a commissioned piece by Frank Halferty and end the concert with a special symphonic setting of the “Sound of Music”.
The concert will be enjoyed by all ages. Tickets are available through Benaroya Hall.
