2011 TBird boys tryouts begin Sunday, October 9

The Shorewood Thunderbirds Select Boys Basketball program is holding team tryouts for the 2011-12 season beginning on Sunday, Oct. 9.  

Thunderbird Select Hoops was founded in 2007 for the purpose of providing serious westside Shoreline area boys basketball players with the opportunity to improve their skills while competing against some of the North Puget Sound area's best teams.  The four TBird teams, comprised of 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th grade boys, compete in the WesCo youth basketball feeder league December-March.  

Boys who are eligible to compete in the program are students living within the boundaries of Shorewood High School and/or who attend a school that feeds into Shorewood HS.  For more information, email  or visit the website.

2011 TBIRDS TEAM TRYOUTS BEGIN SUNDAY, OCTOBER 9:

Bring a numbered reversible jersey or t-shirt, a basketball, water bottle and court shoes.  Arrive 15 minutes early to complete registration.  To make registration go more quickly, download the form and fill it out in advance of your arrival.

Tuesday, Oct. 11, 5:30-7pm @ Spartan Gym, Shoreline Center

7th Graders:

Sunday, Oct. 9, 7-8:15pm @ Shorewood HS

Thursday, Oct. 13, 5:15-6:45pm @ Spartan Gym, Shoreline Center

8th Graders:

Wednesday, Oct. 12, 7-8:30pm @ Einstein Middle School

Thursday, Oct. 13, 5:15-6:45pm @ Spartan Gym, Shoreline Center
